When You Need Data Storage POWER - The Force is With You!

datrium logo.pngNational Physician Services (NPS) and Datrium™, have combined forces to offer physician practices and other healthcare organizations, the next generation of data storage and management.

Datrium DVX is the first enterprise storage system to split server-powered performance from network-attached durable capacity as a single end-to-end system. This split allows enterprise data services to be more dynamic and predictably faster at lower costs, while isolating faults and localizing speed for accuracy. The resulting benefits are dramatically simplified storage performance management at a price much lower than array flash.

“With Healthcare Technology continuing to be the life blood of transforming the Medical Community, getting the highest return on your investment is essential to remain viable. The storage solution that Datrium offers changes the storage game by providing 10 times the performance at half of the cost of a traditional SAN or sever infra-structure,” explained Bryan Graven, CEO of NPS. “This partnership gives the medical community an opportunity to use a powerful hosting solution that maximizes the utilization of virtualization technology, and complements our current portfolio of data storage services.”

We welcome Datrium as an affiliate member of the Perfect Practice Alliance (PPA) network, a collaborative group of healthcare business partners comprised of physicians, IT experts and industry-savvy consultants who understand the clinical and business aspects of healthcare.

“The Datrium DVX software works on any server certified to run VMware software and includes twice the horsepower and storage of traditional solutions at almost half the price,” said Brian Biles, CEO of Datrium. “Our partnership with NPS allows us to mesh our cutting-edge technology with their expertise in healthcare IT for a product unlike any other currently on the market.”

Datrium was founded and funded by virtualization and storage industry veterans Diane Greene and Ganesh Venkitachalam, along with Brian Biles, Hugo Patterson and Boris Weissman. The company announced the general availability of Datrium DVX earlier this year.
